The bookstore is located at 901 W. Layafette in downtown Detroit. This happens to be the crossroads of W. Layafette and the Lodge Expressway (M-10). It is easily accessed from the Howard St. exit when approaching on the southbound Lodge. We have our own parking lot free for customers between the store and the Lodge expressway, with the entrance off Lafayette.

If for whatever reason you are not able to visit us in person and would like to inquire about a book that could be in our un-cataloged main store stock, we encourage you to write us an email. Tell us what book you are looking for, the author, and if you have requirements (i.e. hardcover, specific edition). We can search our shelves and reply to you with the price of the item and arrange for shipping if desired. We'll even read letters or postcards to the same end if you prefer not to email.

Unfortunately, we cannot search for a book over the telephone due to the small amount of staff and the immensity of the store.
